Coast Guard Air Station Houston crew responds to Red River flooding in North Dakota

The aircrew from Houston, which consists of Lt. Cmdr. Todd Fisher, Petty Officer 2nd Class Bryan Sutherland, Petty Officer 1st Class Phil Vanhorenbeck and Lt. j.g. Jason Molinari, was called to assist with the 2009 Red River floods.

As of April 1, 2009, Coast Guard boat and air crews have rescued 96 people since the commencement of flood response operations along the Red River on March 25.  In addition to the 96 people, 14 dogs, 14 cats and various other pets have been rescued.
